Western Province Volleyball Union is the Governing Body for the sport of Volleyball that includes both Indoor, Outdoor and Beach Volleyball in the southern most region of the Western Cape, South Africa. As such the organisation is recognised by The Department of Sport and Recreation -Western Cape, The Western Cape Sports Forum and The Western Cape Sports Academy as the organisation responsible for increasing participation and awareness in the region.

Volleyball's efforts are aided by the many member organisation such as Clubs, United School Sports Association of South Africa-WC, the South African Students Sports Union-WC and Youth Organisation to achieve its objectives.

Volleyball's Indoor Season runs from March through October and Outdoor and Beach Volleyball takes place over the period October to February of each calendar year. Volleyball currently has a high profiled status as a priority sports code in the region and received the Western Cape Sports Award of Federation during 2001.
